Smart City: Become a digital city now with LoRaWAN®
The digital transformation presents both challenges and opportunities. But for utilities in particular, there are opportunities to reduce costs, integrate new business models and improve regional visibility. The origin of this development can be found in LoRaWAN® radio technology.
Smart city applications can be implemented on this basis. This includes, for example, energy management in public buildings, waste disposal, air quality measurement, escape route monitoring, parking space management or even infrastructural improvement of schools. Thanks to our product "TLS over LoRaWAN®", these applications are also possible without restrictions in areas of critical infrastructure, so that network infrastructures can be monitored and smart metering can be implemented cost-effectively.
The LoRaWAN® infrastructure can be created easily and comprehensively through distributed properties. For the implementation, we offer you the necessary software and hardware as well as training for your employees and other services. This includes, for example, the simulation of a planned LoRaWAN® network to identify the optimal locations for gateways.
Scaling and operating your LoRaWAN® network
Finally, the network is expanded and gradually extended with additional applications. To ensure the stability of the network in the long term, we create a digital twin for you that, for example, recognises the need for additional gateways at an early stage.
Stadtwerke Göttingen Service
"The cooperation with PHYSEC is a great enrichment for us. The continuous support and the direct exchange enable us to digitize the metering system quickly and reliably. PHYSEC's comprehensive understanding of its IoTree® platform has led to the creation, implementation and further development of the Heat Efficiency Package."
"The cooperation between Gelsenwasser AG and PHYSEC GmbH is always constructive, characterized by a very high level of technical competence and an open, trusting relationship with each other. With this background, we have already successfully implemented the LoRa®TLS project for efficient remote meter reading, which we will continue to develop together in the future."
Stadtwerke Bochum Netz GmbH
"We have been working and developing together with PHYSEC in the field of Internet of Things since 2018. Together, we have quickly and reliably established an area-wide LoRaWAN® network within Bochum and use the data hub IoTree® to visualize and evaluate received data - without compromising on IT security."
